weeknd 1 Share Posted October 22, 2022 [ Different text colours on chat ] People with different tiers or grades should have different text colours in chat so they can be to identify easier, for example VIPs should have different text colours compared to an usual player, Admins should have different text colours compared to VIPs and so on. VIPs should look like this and Admins should look like this. Also maybe MrTeemo and demySek should have different text colours from everyone because they can afford it [ Levels ] I think, personally, it will be more interesting to have levels on server,, gaining XP, etc. For example at Humans, when shooting zombies, based on the amount of damage you have been given to zombies, you get XP, and same when you kill them, you get 20-30 XP when you finish them. At Zombies, when you infect a Human, you should get 10-20 XP. [ Skins on Weapons and Zombies ] Having skins on Weapons it will make the server more interesting, also making it look better, the weapons should all have different sounds, different animations, maybe add more special weapons, for example a bazooka, which can be bought and gives 8000 damage, laser weapons, miniguns. Zombie skins with different abilities, one that can be invisible, one that gives +1/2 jump, one that can teleport, one that be fast, one that can regain health when infecting, etc. [ Maps ] About maps, I have an idea in which can help the server play multiple and different maps and not only 5-6 out of 50 (said MrTeemo), maps can automatically switch, no need for vote so all the maps can be played one after the other, because to be honest most people, when they vote, they don't care what is on the vote section, they just vote to get rid of the vote section so they can play, or rather they vote randomly. If you don't like it, you may not want to get rid of vote, at least make the maps that have been played recently to do not appear in the vote section again so people will not play the same map, easy, I think. [ Sounds ] I don't know but I get bored fast from playing in the server if there is not action or atmosphere to give a good spirit to play on server. By making the server look intense and with action less people get bored and more can come and play, cause people play the game for fun, right? So if there is not something to get their attention they get bored easily and try to find new server which the impact on their time is more suitable. Green, red, blue, gray or white. 2.About the XP and levels, e did that on the last server we had, we had different guns which you could buy if you have a certain level but there was a problem. Players kept using other players name because they had higher lvl and acces to more guns. This also happens with people which have a lot of points. Others can't help it and use their names and consume everything. It happens and it will happen as long as people with more than 500 600 points won't have slot with password. The last time we had this XP and levels things and we noticed people complaining others used their points and etc we introduced a way for everyone to get slot on the server from the shop. We started sending messages in chat so people see that option and so they started using it. After a while people started to forget their own passwords and that hurt our server because we had fewer and fewer players. 3 and 5.Zombies have some abilities, will be added some more zombie classes in the future as some other sounds I don't know now but we will think about..maybe you can be more specific here. Skins on weapons may be hard to achieve, as sometimes the players skins makes the server run not that great..low fps lagging etc. With a lot of skins on weapons I think the server response will be the same. Only if we make the skins to be visible from the normal view but not from the 3rd view perspective. Meaning others can't see the skin so they won't be affected..only you but it's tricky You can elaborate here more if you want 4. Maps which are currently in server vote rotation are meant to be played maps, popular ones in order to get the server with more and more players even if admins are not online. When admins are online, I've told them to vote other maps too. We are a new server and we don't have a solid player base..look at statistics the server isn't great. It takes time so the players we have are through the boost service we buy every month. These players won't appreciate map changes and leave immediately and I'm sure you have noticed a rapidly decrease of players almost every map change.. I don't want you to feel discouraged because of this answer. I appreciate this proposal, it's well written and reasoned.. and tried to answer as best as I could. Pashaboss 5 Share Posted October 28, 2022 @weekndyou have a great idea on levels and I'm with you! @demySeki know what's solution to prob, we can make passwords to each player can edit his password to avoid steeling that's the best solution, so the player set his password so he can access to his level but if he wrote password 3times wrong,he'll automatically be kiked! For sounds, just keep it to our moderator kaysc, he can add new sounds to infection or maybe also adding some great weapons I have a lot of weapons to suggest to kaysc and staff if they liked weapon +1 If they didn't like it -1 I mentioned that I was an owner of a CSO server so I'll let you see weapons,skins...if you want..
